Try these 5 foods to boost fertility

A woman’s fertility can be affected by a number of factors.

One of the more easily managed factors is a woman’s nutrition.

Try these 5 foods to promote fertility:

Plant protein.
Try to consume more plant protein in place of meat.  Good sources of plant protein include tofu, beans, legumes and nuts.

Complex carbs.
Avoid simple carbs and opt for more complex carbohydrates.  These carbs take more time to digest and slowly release energy which can improve infertility by controlling blood sugar and insulin levels.  Some examples of complex carbs are those found in whole grains, whole fruits, vegetables, and beans.

Raw fruits and vegetables.
Fruits and veggies are a good source of antioxidants, which may promote reproductive health.

Dairy.
Enjoy full-fat dairy including yogurt, milk, and cheese, which may help promote normal ovulation.

Good fat.
Include good fats such as omega-3 fatty acids, monounsaturated fats and polyunsaturated fats in your diet. You can find these fats in nuts, avocados, sesame seeds, pumpkin seeds and fish.
