Women overestimate fertility timeline

The number of women giving birth at the age of 30 has doubled over the last 25 years, while the number of women giving birth over the age of 40 has quadrupled.

These data are somewhat worrisome, as fertility decreases significantly after the age of 30.

For example, at the age of 30, a woman has a 20% chance of conceiving naturally each month.  This number drops to 5% by the age of 40.

However, many women may be unaware of the effect of age on fertility.  In fact, a recent poll of 1,000 women found that women falsely believed that pregnancy rates were as high as 60% over the age of 40!

In light of this evidence that women may seriously be overestimating their fertility, the market for fertility prediction and fertility repair products has grown.

One new product is FertiBella’s ConceiveEasy TTC Kit, which claims to help promote fertility by treating the 7 most common causes of infertility: hormonal imbalances, progesterone deficiency, poor quality cervical mucus, ovulatory dysfunction, high FSH levels, luteal phase defect and irregular cycles.

The company is currently offering a risk-free 30-day trial promotion.  Check out the manufacturer’s website for more information.
