Woman has natural identical triplets

The incidence of triplets occurring naturally, without fertility treatments, for humans is about 1 in 500,000.

But a San Antonio woman, Jazmyne Valerie, has just given birth to identical triplet girls: Za’Nirah, Za’Niyah and Za’Mirah.

Valerie was shocked at the ultrasound that determined she’d be having 3 babies.

“[The doctor] said, ‘Are you ready?’ She said, ‘Baby A, Baby B and Baby C,’” Valerie recalled. “I fell.”

The babies are currently in the ICU and will remain there for at least another month and a half.
