For over 25 years, Fertility Center of San Antonio has specialized in the diagnosis, treatment and research of reproductive disorders worldwide.
Our clinic and laboratory have worked closely together for over 25 years to achieve some of the nation’s highest proven fertility success rates, ones reviewed and documented by the Society for Assisted Reproductive Technology and the federal government.
Dr. Joseph E. Martin, the founder and Medical Director of the Fertility Center of San Antonio, has been practicing in San Antonio for over 35 years. It was his vision to bring the latest treatments and methods of assisted reproductive technology to the private office setting, ensuring that patients receive state-of-the-art therapy in a compassionate and caring setting. This culminated in 1987 with the Fertility Center of San Antonio opening as the first office-based center in Texas. He was joined in 1999 by Dr. Gregory S. Neal, a board certified reproductive endocrinologist. Dr. Neal is the former director of a highly successful fertility program with the U.S. Air Force, having received his specialty training at Cornell Medical School. Together, Drs. Martin and Neal have managed treatments that have led to over 5,000 births from various fertility procedures.
While It is important to know the qualifications and credentials of all the physicians involved in your fertility treatment, it is equally important to evaluate the laboratory director and his/her team of embryologists and andrologists, as the laboratory is central to the success of in vitro fertilization and related fertility procedures.
Dr. Thomas Pool is one of the most recognized clinical embryologists in the world. He was in the inaugural group of scientists to earn board certification in the United States and is the only director in San Antonio to hold certification as a High -complexity Clinical laboratory Director. Dr. Pool and his team have over 80 years of collective experience. The Fertility Center of San Antonio is privileged to have Dr. Pool and his team in the lab every day, making crucial decisions on behalf of your future.
